About the Event

Dorothy Day lived during the Pandemic of 1920.  Come hear about how these times may have impacted her and how she used her Christian faith to help her through tough times.  She is one of four Americans who received favorable mention from Pope Francis during his visit the United States a few years ago.  Much is now said about how her approach to social justice favors that of Pope Francis.

Come hear experts from American Media and New York Times discuss the life and times of Dorothy Day and answer pertinent questions from an international audience.  A very inspiring account of this most amazing woman!  This video is followed by a short commentary from our own Bishop Wes.  Won't you join us!!
